DeWitt, MI(08/01/2025): DeWittFootball.org would like to congratulate the Brothers Larner, Abram and Elliott, on being selected for the 2025 Michigan High School Football Coaches Association All-Star game. On a hot afternoon at Lawrence Tech Blue Devil Stadium, Elliott was the starting West QB.  The West burst out to 28-0 half time lead and  a 35-0 lead into the 4th quarter. The final was 35-13.  Elliott threw a 93 yard TD for the first TD of the game and scored on a six yard run in the fourth for the West's last TD. It was fun to see the Larners on the field at the same time again as Abram now heads to Grand Valley State and Elliott to Michigan Tech. On these dog days of summer, sit back with a cold glass of lemonaide or ice tea and enjoy the game.

Mt. Pleasant, MI (07/26/2025): Looks like former Panther Tommy McIntosh is finally getting the attention he deserves. The All-State receiver McIntosh on DeWitt's 2020 championship team is getting looks after hard work and perseverance at Central Michigan University. Please enjoy these two recent articles from WLNS and from  The G5 Hive on Tommy.

DeWitt, MI (08/17/2025): The boys of fall are practicing. In just a week or so, the 2025 Panther teams will make their debut. The Freshmen and JV will be at Haslett on Wednesday the 27th while the Varsity will be home on Thursday the 28th vs Haslett. Last season the Panthers had do wait until week four for home game (and what a game that was vs Hurricane, WV.) while this season the Panther Varsity will be home for the first three games, vs Haslett, Mason and then Waverly.

DeWittFootball.org caught up with veteran Panther Coach Rob Zimmerman recently. Rob stated he has 62 varsity players and 72 between the Freshmen and JVs. He is pretty excited about the 2025 season with 16 starters returning from last year's semi-final appearance.

DeWitt, MI (08/01/2025): Week four the Panthers will be traveling to Galloway, Ohio to play the Cougars of Westland High School. It is just a bit over four hours travel time on the west side of Columbus. There are hotels a few miles away from the high school.  

Travel Advisory: If you wear Blue and Gold while traveling to Galloway, make sure it says "DeWitt" on the front of the shirt. Have heard rumors that Ohio State Troopers have specially equiped radars that sniff out blue and gold shirts that have an "M" on them and green and white shirts with an S on them.
