Trav, as a senior, was named to the Associated Press All-State First Team as a running back for the 2025 season. He was also named to the Detroit Free Press Dream Team All-State, Detroit News First Team All-State, Michigan High School Football Coaches Association All-State and Capital Area Activities Conference Blue Division All-League. And for the 2025 season, Moore was named the Offensive Player of the Year in the Lansing State Journal As a junior he was Honorable Mention Associated Press, Second Team Detroit News All-State, All-Region Michigan High School Football Association and also on the Lansing State Journal Dream Team team and Capital Area Activities Conference Blue Division All-League. His freshman and sophomore seasons he earned Capital Area Activities Conference Blue Division All-League recognition. Deceptively quick and fast and tough, Trav holds many DeWitt season records set in 2025 including most points in a career (208), touchdowns in a season (34), touchdowns rushing game (5 two times), rushing touchdowns in a season (33), yards rushing in a season (2,482), yards rushing in a game (397), carries in a season (235), most games rushing for over 100 yards in a season (12), total yards in season (2,508). DeWitt career records held now are total points (482), touchdowns scored (79), touchdowns rushing (70), yards rushing (4,334), most carries (452), all-purpose yards (5,602 - 4,334 rush, 435 receiving, 299 return). While his senior season he did not play defense but for his career he garnered 75 tackles, 6 batted passes one interception and 12 SMUKS playing cornerback. Moore played running back and defense his first three years on DeWitt Varsity. His junior season he was back up QB for Elliott Larner that engineered the Panthers to a state record of 6,715 total yards (4,471 rushing and 2,244 passing). Trav had 1,102 yards rushing in nine games that season. His senior season, the offense switched to primarily rushing single-wing attack and Moore led the Panthers to second place on all time State record books with 6,697 total yards, just 18 yards short of the 2024 team. They broke the state record for rushing yards in a season with 5,637. The 2025 team scored 102 touchdowns, just one shy of the state record. The 2024 team scored 101 touchdowns. The two seasons combined are the two most prolific offensive back-to-back seasons in state history with 203 touchdowns and 13,412 total yards. Moore also engineered the 2025 Panthers to a Division 3 state title and a 14-0 record. In the championship game, he set or tied the finals game records for most touchdowns in a half (4), quarter (3), rushing yards (397), team rushing (575), rushing touchdowns (7) and total team offense (639). His senior season he also was 77 of 99 for 934 yards and 13 touchdowns. |
